OUR FOOD ETHOS
We are passionate about fresh whole foods; delicious cakes and treats; ice cream that’s smooth, creamy and fragrant; guilt free organic coffee, tea and more. Reducing our carbon footprint, organic farming and animal welfare are incredibly important to us, so we promise to make conscious decisions and adhere to all of the above. Things don’t travel very far before they land on the plate here at The Farmhouse - we make fresh food each day, sourcing what we can from our organic garden on site.

LOCALLY AND SUSTAINABLY SOURCED
We procure as much as we can locally and ethically to make sure the food we serve is as fresh as it can be, direct from the farm to our deli. While growing the majority of our own greens, seasonal fruit and harvesting our own honey, we have some amazing local suppliers including Clevedon Herbs and Produce, Curious Croppers Tomatoes, Clevedon Buffalo and The Coromandel Smoking Co. For the products that are harder to grow locally, we support other companies doing great things, such as All Good Organics, who personally know the families that grow the organic bananas we use.
We churn beautifully crafted homemade ice cream, fresh every week using our own homegrown honey, herbs and fruit to create specialty flavours. We choose flavours that are influenced by what’s growing around us. Some of our favourites include Salted Honeycomb, Fresh Fig, Ginger & Honey and Black Doris Plum & Blueberry. There are no nasties in our ice cream - we use coconut milk as the base and all flavours are sweetened with honey, so you can enjoy this natural, sweet treat guilt-free.
